Taking the SAT Subject Test Chemistry after AP Chemistry over Summer

So this past summer, I was instructed not to take the SAT Subject Test for Chemistry in order to focus time on the actual SAT. I really wanted to take the Chemistry subject test because I had just finished AP Chemistry. However, a few of my peers took the SAT Chemistry test and received high 700s and 800s on it. It's been a whole summer and I've forgot a lot of chemistry but I'm sure I got quickly pick it back up. Do you guys recommend me to take the SAT Subject Test for chemistry? Is it easy to relearn the concepts and learn some new concepts for SAT Chemistry? Has anyone else been in this situation before? If so, how did it turn out for you?
