Tied in the middle

I'm having a problem, my major in college in biology but I want to become a nurse. I was talking with my god mom who gave me the idea to become a PA(Physician Assistant). I was wondering should I change my major to pre med or keep it biology? When I come out of college with a degree in biology or pre med is it going to help me with any of the two careers or is it going to be like I'm starting over again?
