Chance me for Spring 2015 Transfer

Current School: NYU Majoring in Applied Psychology and Film
Why I'm transferring? Honestly, its almost entirely financial. I no longer have the resources or the finances to continue to attend. I actually plan on taking the fall semester off because I literally cannot fund one more semester. Other than that, I would prefer a smaller school. NYU is incredible but its the only "large" university I see myself attending.

Schools sending applications too: Amherst, Skidmore, and Tufts (maybe for fall admission)
*if anybody knows any other college in the northeast that has an ok reputation and offers financial aid to International transfers that would be awesome!!!

Stats:
Highschool:
GPA: 3.3 (i had 90's and up all semesters except for one where my close friend killed themselves and I got a 62)
SAT: I didn't do too hot maybe a 1690? or a 1700? I got above a 600 in the math section though.
*I submitted 3 AP scores to NYU when applying (all 4's) because thats an option listed on the NYU application
Extra Circulars: Ive been volunteering (and continue to volunteer) at an aquatic therapy clinic for autistic children for over 8 years now, I was Co-captian of the swim team, Student body Vice President, Secretary of Model UN club, Student college advisor, Student Tutor, Student admission tour guide, I keep my own blog and was on math club and photography club (before they were shut down) for 2 years, and I bought and organized/led the first Relay for Life at my school.
*I have 3 AMAZING recommendations from HS teachers way more impressive than the ones from my college professors

Extra: I won the Theatre Development Fund Scholarship, I got over 6 awards in college 2 of which are pretty impressive.

I applied to Skidmore and was rejected as a freshman btw. Never really understood why.

University:
I got a conclusion my first semester and it was REALLY BAD. I got a 2.1 (i know how bad this is). I also had to drop a class so theres one W on my app, a B, a C+ and a D
Second Semester I got a 3.8 or a 3.9 (don't remember) and I took 18 credits with pretty competitive classes
Extra Cirriculars: I continued to volunteer at aquatic therapy, I created my own Screenwriters club so I guess Im the president of that, I am member of the NYU Motion Picture Club, I wrote for the NYU satirical newspaper, I continued to Run my blog, I directed, filmed, edited and produced 3 short films (2 of which are actually really good and I plan on including them in my application) I TA'd a film class, I worked on the set of over 9 student run short films.

This summer I am working an internship with BET network and may be able to get a recommendation from my boss, and also a recommendation from a professor I'm very close too.

Other Stats: Im international and need ALOT of aid. I will be one semester removed from school applying, I'm middle eastern and female.

That is all.
thanks to anybody who replies

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think you're going to have to look at much less selective colleges to transfer in to, both because of your stats and because of your high need for aid. I'm not up on what schools offer film, but I'd suggest going to one of the several web sites where you can plug in your information and see what schools fit your interests and are likely to accept you, in addition to schools that are generous with aid.
