St. John's University's physicians assistant program?

Hi! I was just wondering if the pa program at St. John's is worth it? I've been hearing mixed reviews about the school in general, is St. John's really as bad as people say it is ?? Also, would the pa program at St. John's be better than the one at USciences? I'm having trouble picking between the two :/

I live about a half hour-45 minutes away and I have never heard anyone say that St. John's is BAD school. On the other hand, I don't think anyone's eyes have gone wide and been seriously impressed with an acceptance there either. The school is very well known for some programs and while less known for others it doesn't mean they are bad. My husband was an adjunct at both the Queens and SI campuses years ago and he is a business executive. He thinks St.John's is a fine choice particularly if you are staying in the NYC area for work.

I don't know specifics about the PA program you are considering but I think you should visit both schools to determine which one is the right fit for you and make the decision for yourself. What other people think of the school you choose should not matter as long as you have found a place that you can afford and where you can grow and learn. Good luck!
