I found out today I have been accepted with the 6k/yr scholarship and an invitation to apply for honors! I really hope that I can attend. I really liked the campus, but the scholarship only brings the cost down to about 18k. Post here w/ your stats if you have been accepted!

Congrats to all!

^do regulars find out thru letter or the online status checker?
  • es222es222 Registered User Posts: 251 Junior Member
I believe regulars find out via letter... I checked my status today and it said that they had reached a decision and that it would be mailed to me shortly... Don't know if that's a good sign but...yeah.

jaeneex - I found out through a letter. That same day I checked my status online, and it still wasn't changed. Granted, I submitted my application early November and got my decision early January.

I remember you too stephi! haha, pm me and let me know how everything is going for you!

perfect- I was deferred from Cornell ED, but I spoke with an admissions director and I will probably be given a guaranteed transfer, where I go to another school for 1 year, take a pre-determined list of courses, and need a 3.0 for the transfer to apply. I will most likely go to Oswego, since I loved the school, love the weather up there (I will be a meteorology major), and it is closer to RIT where a very important person I know will be attending :) So in 09' I'll transfer into Cornell, if not accepted this year. Will you be attending Albany?
