Where can I cash my refund check?

On Monday, they're distributing refund checks. I don't have a bank account at M&T, but I want to cash the check to get books. Can I still cash it at M&T or another bank?

You may want to sign up for direct deposit ASAP. It's so convenient. You can do so very easily via bu brain.
Also, there's a few check cashing places in Binghamton, but you'll have to take the bus downtown.

you don't need an M&T account. Just go to the M&T bank teller in the 2nd floor of the New Union, bring TWO forms of ID (your Bing ID and your License, for example), and they will cash it for you for free.

But I do agree that you should open a free checking account with M&T. It's super convenient since ALL the ATM's on campus are M&T. You could always cancel it when you graduate.
