Are Tuition & Housing deposits refundable, if I cancel enrollment before May 1?

Housing deposit is refundable but not the tuition. If you are going to UB and want to be on North Campus I would suggest you make your deposit ASAP. It is a first come, first serve scenario when it comes to the dorms. If you are on the later side making the deposit you will more than likely be dormed on South Campus which may be okay depending on your major. My son was engineering major and ALL his classes were on North Campus so it would have been a pain for him to take a bus everyday to class. South Campus has nursing, architecture classes.

Thanks! That was my concern. If I pay the housing deposit late, I would have less chance to get the North campus dorm. But I am still waiting to hear from one more college which is the 1st choice (UB is the 2nd choice), I was not sure if I should make a deposit now or later - don't want to lose the deposit if I get into the 1st choice college. Anyway, at least housing deposit is refundable so I will pay now to secure the spot for North Dorm.
