SUNY Admissions -- Coordination

Do the SUNY Admin staffs coordinate with each other in managing yield? Do they take into account if some students are applying to 5 or 6 SUNYs?

    absolutely not......they don't even coordinate admissions policies(ED,EA, RD)......

    No, there's no overlap at all. We're all very independent when it comes to admissions. For the most part, we don't know if you've applied to other SUNY campuses.

    Wow, Chris, that to me, a non-professional, seems to make enrollment managment extremely difficult. I suspect that this year is going be very very different from prior years. While I suspect that SB is in better shape, in that a high % of students accepted will enroll, if I were in charge of enrollment management at many other sunys, I would be expanding wait list.
