    Clubs
    1. Red Cross Club (Service Club)
    10th-12th grade
This club plans and hosts our schools yearly blood drives. We also advocate and raise awareness about what is happening in the American Red Cross. My senior year, we started the Disaster Canisters and Clothing Drives in order to raise funds and materials to benefit the American Red Cross.

    2. Golden Girls Club (Service Club)
    11th-12th grade
Our job is to plan parties at the local nursing home. My junior year we planned a Thanksgiving Party where we played Turkey Bingo for prizes, made a Thanksgiving feast for the residents, and did a Thanksgiving arts project with them.

    3. UNICEF Club (Service Club)
    12th grade
UNICEF advocates for poverty stricken children in third world countries. We hosted a Hunger Banquet on November 1, 2010 to raise awareness about the problems of malnutrition in this world. We raised over $450 at this event.

    4. All Kids Count (Service Club)
    10th-12th grade
All Kids Count focuses on helping underprivileged children in Orange County. We throw birthday parties at the local foster homes, make blankets and clothes for children, and run the annual El Toro High School Toy Drive in order to ensure every child gets a Christmas present.

    5. Sticks and Stones (Service Club)
    10th grade
This is an environmental club that focuses on keeping our beaches in Orange County clean and safe. We do beach clean ups monthly at our local beaches.

    6. National Honors Society (Service/ Academic Club)
    11th-12th grade
NHS is for students who excel academically, have leadership positions, and have a good amount of community service hours. This year, for the annual El Toro High School Canned Food Drive, the members of NHS held a Sign Rally. We stood on the streets around our school with signs that had statistics and inspirational quotes. Our goal was to get the community involved in our food drive.

    7. Chipko Environmental Club (Service Club)
    11th-12th grade
Chipko is one of the largest environmental clubs on our campus. We do a lot of nature hikes, beach clean ups, and park beautifications.
