ACT instead of SAT

Is taking the ACT in lieu of the SAT disadvantageous when applying to the Ivies + other top schools?

although they take either test, and have a conversion for the ACT, the fact that over 99% of people that apply to harvard take the SAT, while only around less than 20% send the ACT. I’m sure that the fact that you arent really regarded on the same level has some kind of influence on admissions decisions since the ACT and SAT do not measure the same things. But, it should not be a major factor since they do state that they accept both tests.

i’m sending both…for me, i have to, it’s unavoidable.
