act scores

hi, i just registered for the act and chose to send scores this time. I took it once before and got a 31. Will the colleges see my old score or would i have to send my old score separetely if i didnt do better on the second time i took it? I know if u send the sat, they see all the scores but iono about the ACT. Also, do they jsut keep my act score on file for later viewing when they actually review my application?

For ACT, you only have the score you designate sent & no others. You must designate & pay for each ACT score you want sent. For my S, the HS lists ACT & SAT I & II scores on the transcript, so the Us got the info without us paying ACT to send it.
