Activities and hrs/wk

<p>okay i’m a student council representative at my school. we meet twice a month for about an hour. we plan alot of the school’s activities, and when those events arrive we always spend alot of time preparing for them, but the amount of time that we dedicate to student council per week isn’t exactly consistent. if it’s homecoming week it might be 6 hrs, but a majority of the time it’s pretty much 0-1. so how should i record this? should i just balance it all out and average it at 1 hr/week? should i even record this activity at all? i remember reading somewhere that an activity that takes only 1 hr/wk is not significant enough to mention…</p>

<p>yeah, i understand what you mean. its the same way with certain parts of my dancing: if we have a show coming up, im at rehearsal 4 hrs a day, every day. but if we dont, i might be in class for about an hour a week. still, dancing is a HUGE part of my ecs.
so how do you explain how many hours per week you do this activity for the entire year when its not balanced at all…?</p>
