Cal, UCLA or U-Dub?

<p>for a friend:
California resident
undeclared major</p>

<p>wants a generally "typical" college experience -- football games, potential Greek involvement, friendly students. Not insane partying but lots going on. High caliber academics not as important.</p>

<p>She is a soccer player, quite good, but not good enough to play on any of these teams. Would continue playing intramural, etc.</p>

<p>UCLA is very academically competitive. I would say go there, but if that's not his thing, beware...</p>
