<p>Sorry goldturtle, what you said is just plain wrong. I am sorry for you having a difficult childhood, but the OP CLEARLY qualifies for QB. You did read that he/she has a family income of $20,000? With stats that the OP has and family income, the OP is EXACTLY the target student for Questbridge, high achieving and low income. My D was a QB match a few years ago, yet she never “suffered” growing up. I have said many times on these threads that one need not have a hard luck sob story to be a QB candidate. Another thing, there are no “spots” to be taken. QB match students are chosen even before ED applicants. Nobody is taking the last spots in a class. They either choose you or they defer you to their RD pile.</p>
