2 APs in Jr yr, really taking all that’s offered…
transferred from another hs in 10th grade
psat: 68CR/67M/80W (hoping for 2250 or so on sat)
i know there’s not much to go on, but…
i’ve held a regular job for a year, probably will hold onto job through sr year
done a TON of art, but mostly personal stuff, haven’t enetered in competitions, etc…

<p>hey i live in MA too! wherein? it really depends on the town u r in on ur rank. a 10/250 in lexington is crazy good whereas a 10 /250 might not be so in others.</p>
<p>You are a junior, so here’s some tips to increase your chances, rather than predictions based on your current stats. </p>
<p>I would enter some art competitions, take an SAT course or study from a prep book, study for your AP Tests and take SAT IIs in those subjects in May or June. If you do this and do well (win an art competition, do well on the SATs and APs) then you should have a good chance.</p>
<p>forgot to mention–vp of art club at school, haven’t been around long enough to get any other leadership positions… im from yarmouth out on cape cod</p>
<p>well, i’d say you are lacking on the ec’s a bit. although you are from a competitive state, you have a chance at ed penn</p>
<p>i’ve also participated in various random speech tournaments, etc… nothing really amazing… im hoping my essays, grades, and test scores will get me in</p>
<p>what i kinda dont get is how you can have only 1 A- on your transcript which is incredible but do not as well proportionately on the SAT’s. But, good luck, the most important thing I could probabl tell you is to just be yourself on your app.</p>
<p>i hadn’t taken math in half a year coming into the test and i didn’t prepare at all i guess? i dunno, i was a little disappointed</p>
<p>i would strongly recommend just buying the princeton review, kaplan, etc kind of test prep books and study hard because a high standardized test score really means a lot</p>
