So I’m an honors student but I’ve already pretty much resigned myself to the fact that South Quad isn’t going to be an option this year. Whatever, no sweat. I’m over it. As I wait to get my housing assignent, though, I was wondering if someone could rank the best dorms based on my criteria.

-Access to classes (i’m not an engineer or a musician.)
-Access to 24 hour libraries.
-Access to a (quality) gym.

Everything else is irrelevent.

A top-5 list would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I think the only 24 hour libraries are on north, though the UGLi is open really late (~4:30) and you can study in a mason hall class room any time of the night.

-Far from central campus
-CCRB sucks mainly because its crowded all the time
-No libraries are open 24 hrs…Ugli, as said already, is open late though

iolllloi, How would West Quad score on that scale. I’ll be a freshman this coming fall and I’d like to know from a senior student. Thanks again.

Access to classes: A+. Most of your classes will probably be on central, unless you’re an engineer…then theres a bus stop real close. I lived in South Quad and it took me 5-10 minutes to get to all my classes.

Access to libraries: A+. Ugli and the Graduate Library (which I prefer) are also really close

Access to gym: A. IM building close enough…or you could go to CCRB…Personally I prefer IM becasue its less crowded.
