Common App Question

1: For recommendations, the website asks when you want to invite teachers to CommonApp to submit stuff. Should that be done now, or at the beggining of school sometime in September?

2: Do online for-credit courses takenover the summer count as secondary schools?

Thanks.

bump.........

Have you asked the teachers to write you recommendations yet? Have they said yes? Have you talked to them (if they wish) about the recommendations? If you've done all of those things, you can invite them. Otherwise, do all of that first.

Do you mean, do you have to list k12.com or Keystone as a secondary school attended? I honestly don't know, but I think if you intend to include those online courses in any other part of your application (e.g., if you transferred credits to your HS, so they'll show up on your transcript, or you intend to send records of those classes to colleges to supplement your HS transcript), you should list them.
