<p>possibly ccct, there has to be a reason why SMC had 529 UCLA transfers and 900 UC overall, while the next closest school had only 575 all together.</p>

<p>SMC is filled with exchange students who pay around 3,000 per semester.</p>

<p>Even if the CC you attend matters, are you really going to change move to go to one? Not everyone has multiple CC’s to choose from.</p>

<p>Seriously, this is not a major decision. Find your closest CC, get in, and get out. Get to that real college ASAP.</p>

<p>Did anyone ever consider that the reason these schools put so many people into 4 year schools is because they have a crapload of students? But no one bothers to ask what the ratios are.</p>

<p>Trust me, your CC is near meaningless.</p>

<p>I posted this article because there are a number of people in the transfer forum who were discussing their school’s rank. So this is purely for their amusement. </p>

<p>On the other hand, there are some that do care about it, and therefore have viewed the thread.</p>
