Concerning College

<p>Hey guys, I am off to college in a few month and I am rather concerned with safety issues. I am most likely going to attend either Purdue or Indiana Bloomington so I am aware there are many different social classes there. I am not trying to sound condescending or mean but if I drive a BMW 530 and wear A|X, do I have to worry about anything? I have heard that Purdue is a fairly conservative college and it just so happens that I like to follow the trend a bit. Will I seem too flashy? Should I tone it down abit? I mean, I don’t really want to make myself miserable by making enemies the first day of school or get my tires poked, dorm getting broken into, etc…</p>

<p>May anyone provide some insight for me please? Appreciated.</p>

<p>it doesn matter what material wealth you have, alot of people wear a/x. just remain downtoearth and snobbish, and im sure ull be fine. don be quick to display your wealth or your richwhitepreppiness.</p>

<p>I have heard that in college if you leave your laptop in the library to go to the restroom, it would definately be gone. I must say I am not one of the most meticulous person in the world and I often lose stuff in HS. So I am wondering if college can get as bad as HS or if even worse?</p>
