<p>I’m attending Rutgers University and feel that the School of Industrial and Labor Relations would be a better fit for me. I’ve been browsing the forums a bit and finally decided to see if I have a good chance to get into Cornell. </p>

<p>I went to an interview at Cornell, instead of having a phone interview. Please reply I really want to know what my chances are to get in. There are a lot more extra-curriculars I just don’t remember them right now. Sorry if there are any spelling mistakes , I’m on the run I have class in 10 minutes.</p>

<p>biggest thing you can do right now is to perform flawless in your current courses. Keep the GPA up, ilr admissions officers do track your performance even mid-term.</p>

<p>Next, write perfect essays. ILR adcoms really do read every word … in fact 3 people read every essay you submit (and a fourth if needed). Show interest in the subject and in related classes. Cite your EC’s in your essays, ilr wants people who will utilize the resources available to them at the school. Show that you’re informed about what ilr is and how it will suit you. </p>

<p>If you can pull the very high gpa, write perfect essays and remain involved in your school, i’d say you have an above-average chance at admission.</p>

<p>I’ll probably get a 4.0 this semester. Do you think that C grade in writing can hurt my chances?</p>
