<p>What’s a counselor-certified SAT score? Do I photocopy my official SAT scores (when it arrives in the mail) and get the counselor to certify it? OR do I type it out myself and get my counselor’s signature? I hope it’s the latter because I haven’t received my December score report in the mail.</p>
<p>the majority of schools will only accept offical scores that are submitted through the college board / ACT so if you have not released your scores yet, go on line and do so asap.</p>
<p>However, for some local rolling admit colleges, they will accept the the counselor certified scores. the sticker is usually attached to the transcript and sealed by the schools.</p>
<p>The counselor-certified scores are a photocopy of the official report that is sent to the school (if you listed them when you registered). Your school should receive the scores around the same time you do. If you get them before they do, have your counselor photocopy it and place it in a envelope, sealed with the school’s sticker. </p>
<p>Like sybbie719 said, usually local rolling admit colleges are the ones that accept counselor-certified scores in place of official reports from the CB. For example, in Michigan, Wayne State University accepts these reports.</p>
