I’ve had a lot of extremley good interviews with most of these colleges
I’ve contacted most of the music directors and plan on sending a solo CD and film demo reel to most of these places (exception is Tisch which is getting a full film)</p>

<p>Oh, and I’m fairly easy on the eyes.</p>

<p>You’ve got solid numbers and your interest in film is a good hook. I think you’ll make most of those probably including either Brown or Columbia.</p>

<p>I’m a very insecure person like everyone on these silly boards, so your positive feedback is certainly appreciated. I personally would be ecstatic to go to Vassar, Columbia or Brown, but I get this feeling that Brown is more of a fit for me than Columbia. Columbia seems to be more geared toward the intel students and brilliant scholars, while a starving artist like moi may not be taken seriously in the admissions office. While Brown certainly has an overflow of intel students and scholars, they just seemed to have a more open and alternative approach to their student body. But once again, I will be the happiest boy alive as long as what ever school I go to has a strong film program and solid jazz band. </p>

<p>By the way, the “easy on the eyes” comment was sort of geared to the fact that I am really disturbed that some colleges want a wallet sized photo of applicants with the applications.</p>

<p>yeaaaaa…i definitely think u’ll get into all these schools (including Brown/Vassar/Columbia) with ur awesome ec’s…i mean how many applicants can they have that have filmed/directed/written a bunch of plays and are one of the top musicians in the state? i think ur in …</p>

<p>Well, thank you helppleez, but quantity isn’t everything. Being a pretentious teenage filmmaker, i tend to believe that all my works are masterpieces, but i just wonder if the admissions ppl will buy that.</p>

<p>i visited weslyan, and i have a lot of friends that go there but i just didn’t feel a connection with it. the performance arts department had some of the most hideous buildings i’ve ever seen (i can only describe it as a bad imitation of I. M. Pei)</p>
