Do colleges tell you the requirement of the standardized testing scores?

<p>I heard from a friend that some schools on the East Coast tell you the exact score from which they start accepting students.</p>

<p>Is that true? How can I find out? I searched online but none of the schools post the number on their website.</p>

<p>Try searching “[school’s name] common data set” on Google. It won’t give you the score at which the school starts to accept students, but it will give you the average score of all admitted students from the past year, along with a lot of other useful (and sometimes intimidating) information.</p>

<p>No. It’s not, unless it’s a public school like the UCs, in which you have to qualify as the top 1/8 (12.5%) of graduating seniors in CA.</p>
