<p>I was wondering if anyone knew whether receiving an honorable discharge from the Marine Corps would help me in the admissions process. I just got out of the military and am in my second semester of CC. I want to transfer to UCB or UCLA. I was born in the Fiji Islands and am of East Indian descent, english is my second language. So would being a minority with 4 years of honorable service give me better chances at being accepted or does it do nothing for me?</p>
