<p>i live on the east coast, i have not visited. All i know about the college is the facts &figures online. What was ur impression of the university?</p>
<p>Berkeley a forum and use the search engine.</p>
<p>General perception - very hard-working student body, bastion of liberalism, about 40% Asian, huge school in every way.</p>
<p>One of the most respected institutions in the world.</p>
<p>The general consensus seems to be that if you live in California, it’s one of the best deals in the nation. Unfortunately for me, I’m applying out of state… But even then, it’s still rather good in terms of price.</p>
<p>Off one side of the campus, there’s this street where many shops are at, called Telegraph, and is really diverse. While there’s a Gap, there’s also small local businesses with friendly faces. Also, the bums have larger than life personalities.</p>
<p>Now, I’m from southern CA, so what I say is relative to where I’m from, but it’s cooooold there.</p>
