how bad would this look?

<p>how bad would it look if i dropped ap biology? i was accepted to LSA and really don’t feel like having to deal with this class anymore. it’s driving me insane.</p>

<p>Do you need it to graduate? Have you fullfilled Michigan’s science requirement already? What other classes are on your schedule? Is it AP Biology or just regular Biology?</p>

<p>no i don’t need it to graduate. yes i’ve fulfilled michigan’s science requirement. my other classes: ap stats, calc honors, ap english, ap euro hist. the class i want to drop is ap biology.</p>

<p>Hmmmm, if you replace it with an academic, then I don’t think it would be too bad. I remember them (adcoms) telling me at a visit that they will contact you and look for a reason for you dropping the class, so make sure you have one other than ‘I don’t like the teacher/my grade is bad’</p>

<p>I agree with A2Wolves. To be safe, if you are going to drop your AP Biology class, replace it with another. However, your schedule, even without AP Biology is pretty tough. If you are confident that you can get 3 As and a B, or straight As, I don’t think Michigan will make a fuss about your dropping Biology. But if you get a couple of Cs, Michigan will definitely notice and your having dropped Biology could get you in trouble. I personally wouldn’t risk it. You have 4 more months of schools. Bite the bullet and stick to it!</p>
