<p>I think I did well on the MC for the most part, and I think I wrote an excellent essay, but I had no introduction. I was able to squeeze in a summarization of my idea of the essay in a sentence I stuck to my third paragraph, but I’m not sure if that is allowed in a personal response essay.</p>

<p>A good essay for them is extremely formulaic: intro->body 1->body 2->conclusion</p>
<p>Without an introduction and formal conclusion, they will most likely take off. I’d estimate a 8-10 as a score.</p>
<p>well its pretty impossible to write a good essay in 20 minutes, and the test makers know that. so essentially if you write a structured essay with an intro body and conclusion, with few grammatical errors and examples that make you sound semi intelligent, then you’ll do well. the graders only read the essay for like 2 minutes. they grade it based on its whole by focusing on important things like structure, organization and coherence. basically if its easy to read, the grade should be good. length is important too. if you dont fill up all the space i dont think you can get a perfect score (atleast thats what testmasters told me).</p>
