<p>I dont understand how you document ECs. For example if I volunteered for Student Council do I put that under student council or for volunteering? If I put it under volunteering, would I put it under a general category or one of the specific organization? (in StuCo we do lots of little things for lots of people so writing out all the places where we worked would not make sense). If I went out a Boy Scout outing, how much of the time do I document? How much time I spent leading, how much time I was awake, or how much time all together (including sleeping)? Is Orchestra considered an EC if I take it as part of school?</p>
<p>you should group things under headings such as: academic awards, volunteering, employment, extracurric, sports, hobbies/interests, etc and place it in whichever it would look best under. do NOT repeat things. orchestra is an EC and the service part under student council should be included in the explanation about student council (also under extracurric unless u want it under leadership)</p>
