How good do Advanced Placement exams really look?

Okay, So I started out my junior year very motivated by the fact that I would finallyt be allowed, by my school, to take AP courses. I signed up for the AP bio, AP european history, AP english lang & comp and AP macro eco well on in september. Throughout the rest of the year, AP econ & hist were a breeze…I was struggling with bio and english…By January…I gave up on bio and dropped the course, and dutifully paid the school’s ap coordinater my AP eco & hist examination fees. "I’ll allow you to register for the english exam in march, after the second trimister final scores come out, provided your grades in the subject come up, " the old hag had then said.
Come March, english final exam scores were seriously delayed.
I left the country on vacation for spring break, only to come back by mid-April. As soon as school started again, I went up to my english teacher to ask for final grades…which were pretty good…so for the next couple of days I passed by the AP coordinater’s office but she was never there! Today- when I finally bumped into her- I greeted her with a smile, and asked if I can register, but it turns out registration was supposed to take place “by the end of March, at the very latest” pushes me out of office and slams door in my face

B**CHHH!!!

So now, its my junior yesr, and I’m only sitting for two APs! How bad will this look on my college applications? Would doing well in SAT IIs make up for this? Would it strenghten my application if I take a string of ASs next fall in the british council? (I was considering doing A-levels anyway)

OR

Am I making a big deal out of nothing…and it will all be fine if I take a few more APs next year?

How important are APs anyway?
I was really counting on taking 3 APs this year, inorderto qualify for the AP scholar award…which isnt gunna work out anymore…
URRRGHHH tell me what you think…
