<p>If you've read my other thread, you'd know I'm in some trouble with my transcript (not enough challenging courses, mainly) because of changing high schools every year. Well, I do have a 4.0 UW gpa. I'm just wondering that a college would not accept me based on my transcript, could my teacher recommendations save me? I know for a fact I have several teachers ready to give wonderful recs. Thanks for any help.</p>
<p>P.S. I have no intention whatsoever of attending an ivy. All I want is a nice private school that can help me in my career as a translator.</p>
