HS Freshman year GPA woes

<p>There is nothing in the entire world that would make me happier than going to an excellent college. Lehigh is my number 1 hope. I am a junior and have maintained a 3.8 GPA throughout high school (unweighted).</p>

<p>But in my freshman year of high school, I got three C+'s in Spanish II. How bad is that going to hurt me to a college admissions counselor?</p>

<p>While C's aren't desirable, the best time to get them is freshman year in a single class.</p>
