i wasnt able to visit

will this hurt me in admissions?

(ten char)

No, why would it hurt your chances?

i doubt they keep track of who visits, and even if they did it wouldn't hurt your chances.

I visited....will it hurt my chances....i live in MD also...so it wasnt like it was easy

Don't sweat it. I don't think it would be fair for them to give an advantage to those who visit.

*will it help my chances

Visiting a campus, any camous, does not help or hurt an applicant's chances.

hahaha i only asked because i saw that they considered "demonstrated interest"

Adcoms review hundreds of applicants annually. They know whether an applicant is serious about the university they are applying to just by looking at the application. When was it received? Did the applicant take the necessary time to write the answers? Does the applicant show any passion toward the universit in question? etc...

Visiting a campus is not usually verifiable and clearly favors applicants who live near the school.
