Impact of personal statement/GPA for these schools?

AP: US (5), Euro (4), will take Econ (Macro and Micro), Lit, and Gov next May
SAT II: signed up for US and Lit in November
ECs: student body president, class president for two years prior, intern for my local congressman, founder of Guitar Club at my school</p>

<p>I know my GPA isn’t the greatest but assuming I do well on the Subject Tests, how much of an impact do you think my personal statement will have for these schools/will my GPA prevent me from being a serious candidate for any of these schools?</p>
