International Student Orientation Date??

They are separate events that follow for one week immediately after International Orientation finishes. If you register in IO you are required to register for CA or OA. Here is some information for last years’ CA/OA events:

<a href=“Frosh Trip | Outdoor Action”>http://www.princeton.edu/~oa/ft/index.shtml

Based on trends in past years, most likely CA/OA will run from Aug 30-Sept 6 this fall. CA is focused on community service projects (my son chose this in his freshman year and loved it) while OA is what it sounds like - outdoor activities (kayaking, hiking, canoeing etc). Each of CA/OA has a variety of events to sign up for, all on a first come, first served basis. They do hold a few spots for IO students who must do one or the other if they come to IO (they don’t want you just sitting around on campus for a week!) but if you sign up early you’ll get a better chance to get the activity you want.

The best part is that through IO/CA/OA you’ll get to meet a large number of people which really helps ease the transition into Princeton life.
