Is it better to attend a school with a medical school at it?

Is it better to go (for undergrad) and fulfill my pre-med requirements at a school that already has a med school at it? Such as UC Davis, for example.

If so, why?
Or does it not matter?
Does it increase your chances of getting into their med school if you attend there for undergraduate education?

This has been asked before on different threads. Unless there is some sort of automatic admissions process you could take advantage of, the general consensus was no. Go where you can get the best grades for the least cost so you can pay for med school.

Your premed requirements are taught in the undergrad biology and chemistry departments -- these are unrelated to any Medical school faculty.
