LAC Recommendations

I ought to rephrase my previous thread; my primary necessity is the addition of a couple of liberal arts colleges to my application list. (I obviously cannot delete the thread; please forgive me.)
I have a 3.68 weighted GPA; mostly honors/AP classes; a 29 on the ACT (I have not taken the SAT; nor do I have immediate plans to); and potentially 3 excellent letters of recommendation. I have what I would consider somewhat above-average extracurricular activities; if it is necessary to elaborate concerning these, I certainly can. Most of them involve music; none involve athletics. I consider myself (as do virtually all of my instructors over many years) an excellent writer; the essays, I suspect, will be of a highly favorable nature. I am in the top thirteen percent of my class and my grades correlate to a very strong upward trend.
I live in the area of Chicago, Illinois and attend a public secondary school.
Other than the obvious, my concerns are primarily financial. I have generally limited the tuition at 28,000 dollars, although I would be able to liberalize this figure somewhat based upon the quality of financial aid.
I would prefer a school on either the east or west coast (growing up in the middle of a cornfield leaves much to be desired by my age).

Um, Rice isn’t on the west coast…but it’s one of a few very good school with tuition under 30,000.
