As of late, Ive been unable to concentrate in class, especially in quantitative subjects such as physics and calc. During a lesson, I would try hard to concentrate, but once a while my mind just drifts away. And before realizing it, the class is over. Do you guys have any tips on combating lapses? Thanks in advance.

I don’t have many lapses but when I start one I tell myself to start concentrating on my work. Maybe you’re developing ADD or somethin’…

Thats how my entire AP Chem class has been. It wasn’t bad in the beginning, because I could teach myself the work, but now it has gotten hard
I’d rec. eating something and chocolate for the caffeine!

Never stop taking notes.

Haha, yeah, that’s what I do. I write notes down so it forces me to actually listen to what’s being said.

is it bc you are bored? I space out in both those classes bc once I understand what’s going on, I can’t stand to just sit there and listen while the teacher continues spoon-feeding the rest of the class…if that’s your issue, try asking for the assignment ahead of time, or just start working the problems if you don’t mind doing extra work :)

who cares man, u dont need to pay attention

theres no way class wont be boring b/c u just sit there and u have to do it five days a week. if u really need to, just talk to the ppl next to u or be like me and spin pens
