<p>Can high school students register to take courses at UPenn? I live 10 min from Philadelphia, and I’m looking for a multivariable calculus course for my senior year. UPenn’s Math 115, 204 sequence seems like just what I am interested in taking next year.</p>
<p>I am just interested in knowing whether high schoolers are allowed to do this. I am not certain I will register if possible as even if the opportunity exists, possible discrepancies in scheduling may have to be resolved.</p>

<p>It will cost a lot. A credit at our crappy state university costs 120 dollars. I think it will be at least doubled or tripled at Penn.
I think it may be smarter to just take the class at a community college.</p>

<p>u are looking at $1,800 a course. hardly worth it in my opinion. do it at a community college</p>
<p>Does anyone know if Rutgers Camden have any good courses then? I don’t really live near a community college.</p>
<p>another alternative would be taking a Stanford EPGY course or just studying it independently (like me

<p>I have a friend, actually, who took 104, 114, 240 and 241, the 4 Calculus sequences at Penn his junior and senior years in HS. Now he’s at Penn majoring in math, and started off with 4 credits under his belt.</p>
<p>But he’s on track to get his PHD when hes 23, so he’s pretty unhuman.</p>
<p>Anyway, if you end up at a top school, they won’t take your community college credit, so if you can afford it, take it with Penn’s CGS.</p>
<p>By the way, don’t go into Math 114 or 115 if you didn’t get a 5 on AP CALC BC, you’ll be lost.</p>

<p>But say I get credits for those courses, would I receive math credits even if I went to a school other than UPenn?</p>
<p>How do the Stanford EPGY MV calculus courses compare to UPenn’s math 115 and 240? And are EPGY credits transferable?</p>
