<p>Let’s say you visit a school (like Vandy level). Does that give you less chance of a merit scholarship?? Are merit scholarships used to attract people who are leaning towards going somewhere else?</p>
<p>it depends on the school, of course, but i’d say that people that show interest have an even better chance of getting a scholarship. it would make sense for the university to lure people that are borderline than to lure those that aren’t likely to go.</p>
