<p>I’ve seen sooo many posts on cc of ppl that got best delegate, best speaker, best…something at MUN
My ques is: are they big deals? and if they are, which ones are best</p>

so does it basically depend on the school?</p>
<p>MUN at my high school has rocked since 1972. I was a founding member of the program, which now has what amounts to freshman, junior varsity and varsity teams. <a href=“http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huntington_Beach_High_School[/url]”>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huntington_Beach_High_School</a></p>
<p>So, MUN isn’t a joke if it’s done right. As for whether awards for MUN mean anything I would say, yeah, if the school has a decent program.</p>
<p>I’m no expert, but I would think that if you were recognized for best delegate/honorable mention/best position paper at a conference (not interschool, lol if you won anything where international students came then it was international competition? 
then it should be mentioned. If it made you unique and different from many others, especially if they’re not from your own school, mention it</p>
