My chances (mine, last one was my brothers)

Weighted Gpa: by how uf calculates it, 4.02-4.04
SAT: math 690, reading 600, writing 640
get act score in a few days
7 ap classes almost all others were honors
extra curriculars: florida boys state, 200+ hours of volunteering, eagle scout and sea scouts, editor of school newspaper, work as a lifeguard, treasurer of young republicans, NHS

I am worried because I had one C in math my junior year, which I understand is the most important. If I can write a good essay, what are my chances at summer or fall session?

Thanks you

Pretty good shot. Not a sure thing, but I would be pretty comfortable if I were you, assuming you have great essays.

Did you pass all of your AP exams?

I'm not sure yet. I won't get the scores back until halfway through July but I felt pretty confident on most of them. Thanks for your input.

I wouldn't worry about it; I think you have a good shot. I (unfortunately) was awarded a D my soph year in a math class, so one C won't kill your chances at acceptance. Write a solid essay, and you have a * very * good shot. Don't let the regional prestige get to your head. Good luck!

Thank you. My mom was just getting me so worried about the C. Hopefully I will get in for summer session.

I think that Summer admission standards are the same as Fall. Not too sure on that one, hopefully someone else can jump in.

^ Take a look at this Ask UF – As a freshman applicant, should I apply for the Summer or Fall term? and http://www.admissions.ufl.edu/ugrad/frapply.html
