n00b playing the prediction game...

hello everyone,
i know it may seem pretentious for me, a noob to these forums, to be asking predictions, but after lurking around for awhile, everyone here seems so much more likely to respond versus other ‘boards’ i’ve been too…coughprinceton reviewcouch…
btw, it seems like bad karma for me to make a post like this…but you only go through college admissions once right?
anyways, predictions please…

Brown (<–Alumni interview, went well, she said that I was "very articulate and “made her wish she was reading my app” lol i know a little biased)
Georgetown
NYU

Good Matches
Gonzaga
Loyola Marymount University in LA
University of San Francisco

Safeties
UBC
Langara (transfer college to UBC)

So from my take, my SAT’s put me at 50% for my good matches, and as for
my reaches, my sat’s decrease my chances to 1.5% of acceptance.
That’s fine, since I will be happy if i get into any of my good match schools.
So I’d like some predictions and thanks for reading such a long post…

bump bump?

why so far south to Louisiana? I’m applying there, btw; it’s a good school

I don’t make predicitons…sorry!

louisiana? im not sure i get your reply…but thanks anyways

I dunno, IMO UBC is a better school than your Matches, so if I were you, if I got in there I would go to those over your matches, especially since you’ll be going with friends

i apologize; by LA, you meant Los Angeles

In the state of Louisiana, there’s a school called Loyola University, but I skimmed over your post and saw LA and Loyola and I assumed that it was the one in Louisiana

Sorry…I don’t hear Los Angeles referred to much as LA in Louisiana

lol i just realized that too anonymous…sorry about the confusion, good luck to you too…

as for gmman, UBC might be better academic wise, but from talking with friends who have studied in UBC, one thing they say is that is it huge, i.e., 30 000+ undergrads, whereas in my match schools, there undergrad pop is roughly one-third or less of UBC’s. Size is a factor to me, as I visited Gonzaga and like the atmosphere there. Thanks for your reply though !

anyone else wanna say I’m an average applicant or predict rejections ? lol to take a quote from dodgeball “If you never set any goals for yourself, you’ll never be disappointed” ;)
