NCAA drops early signing for track

<p>Would anyone care to speculate on how this will impact ED/EA for track and field athletes who would have signed this fall and who now will be waiting until February?</p>

<p>Specifically, how will this impact athletes hoping to compete for the Ivy League and are currently being recruited by Ivies (who don't sign letters of intent because no scholarships are in play) and by D1 programs who, until now, signed athletes in the fall.</p>

<p>I'm not sure where this post belongs...it affects track and field athletes in the midst of recruiting. Is there a better place to put this to get help from other athletes/parents/coaches?</p>
