Need advice on good college fit

Hi,

First post...rising senior (male)...need help finding a good college fit. Here's a rough outline:

SAT Verbal: 690
SAT Math: 650
SAT Writing: 730
SAT II Subject Test: History: 720
SAT II Subject Test: Literature: 700

GPA: 3.9...will have had at least four AP classes by next year.

National Honor Society
Captain of a sports team/sports awards
A few other academic/leadership awards

Academic interests: Liberal Arts (History, English, Communications...). Uh, who knows ;)

Family can afford $20,000 a year give or take some. Live in Virginia, but up for anything that's affordable for us.

Tend to be fairly quiet person...and not that well-organized...can't afford an expensive school, but have been thinking that a smaller, more structured school might be a better fit. Might find it too easy to get lost in a huge university.

Comments appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

If you apply for financial aid you could probably afford a lot of schools

I might look at Lafayette because they offer a lot of merit aid and of course W&M/UVA

There are a lot of Liberal Arts Colleges that offer good need based financial aid. Check out the Princeton Review to see what interests you
