Could I say that being a teaching assistant shows leadership? And how could I describe it to demonstrate leadership? Thanks so much for any help!</p>
<p>Not really. But if you do a significant amount as a TA, describe what you do and that should help. Help teachers grade tests, make copies, run errands, help other students, etc etc.</p>

<p>Speaking as an NHS member, almost anything can qualify as leadership if you describe it in the proper way and learned the right lessons from it. I agree with @mott, though I think that being a teaching assistant would look good regardless.</p>
