no AP English?

Is taking AP English (Lit or Lang) for a science oriented student important for top colleges? I’m taking Lit (first English AP) as a senior, and I hav no motivation or interest in that class. Should i drop it or just take it and get a B in it?

Taking an advanced class regardless of the subject is a good idea, especially if it is not your strongest area. Even though you have little interest, you may be able to work hard to “get” something higher than a B (or maybe not). It sounds like you’ve already made up your mind.

ps it is common English language form to capitalize "i"s. Perhaps you should take AP Language instead.

She missed one i. Typo.

In science, there is a lot of writing to be done, especially if you are doing research at the college you will attend. Communicating in a clear concise matter is important in science or else your experiments and conclusions will be distorted, giving the reader confusion. So I suggest you take the class to improve writing skills. Most of the stuff we’re doing is nonfiction.
