Nothing to be worried about?

So I got a recommendation from a physics teacher who really likes me, and she was my favorite teacher too. She thinks I am brilliant, hardworking, charismatic, etc. The goods right?

Well I had a slight hitch earlier this year. I took AP Physics as a junior instead of as a senior so I still have a lot of the labs and I let someone taking it now take a look at it as guidance. Well it ended up spreading a little bit and she found out. She was a little irritated at me for a bit, but since then it has all been good. I didn’t get into any official trouble at all and only she and students know about it really.

She revealed to the class (my friends told me about this) about some stuff while writing her rec. She said that my cover letter/college essay were really helpful, she spent a lot of time talking about how I was brilliant. But she also said that while she was filling out the ratings, she gave me top 1% for everything until integrity, when she said she “put it down a notch to Outstanding” and then continued to put everything else to top 1%.

Is this anything to be worried about in terms of how adcoms look at my application? Because it would look pretty weird if everything else was “One of the few I have encountered” and then integrity is taken down a notch.

You disappointed her by your lapse in judgment. More importantly, why is she discussing the content of your LOR with other students?

Idk why she was discussing it. She is pretty free in terms of what she does as a teacher (she is from Russia).

Yes I did disappoint her for that action, but is that one slight notch down a problem?

There’s nothing that you can do about it now anyway, so chalk it up to experience and move on. Worrying about it won’t help you.
