One UC summer course equates to how many 'years'?

Hi, please answer/help me out with any input:

During the last two summesr, I’ve taken 2 UC Chemistry summer courses - ‘session 1’.This was 5 weeks long, but was taught accelerated; 10 weeks of material taught in 5.

I don’t take chemistry during the school year. Several of these apps are asking me how many years of chemistry I have had, so how many years would these two summer courses equate to?

Thank you!

please do try and answer : )

not sure, call the adcom of the school which asks that question.

If it is a regular university course, not a special thing for high school students, then 10 weeks = 1 quarter at UC, so you have had 2/3 of one year of university chem.

yes, a regular uni course.
ok, 2/3rds. not bad!

thanks : )
