My overall profile is fairly eclectic, but bear with me

SAT’s:
800 Reading
760 Writing
680 Math
2240 Total

GPA unweighted hanging out ~3.27, but have taken nothing but Honors and AP classes when possible so, weighted, should come out to something closer to 3.7-3.8ish. Still haven’t quite figured how to weight my own GPA. My HS is the highest-ranked public school in my state (MA) on the MCAS (Massachusetts’ standardized test)

Extracurrics-
Here’s where it gets iffy. I want to go into A/V production, and that’s been my main focus in terms of EC’s. In addition to working at home since freshman year, I have two concurrent independent studies this year working in Adobe After Effects (motion graphics) and learning Flash/HTML/JavaScript/CSS for web development. Outside of those independent studies I’ve been teaching myself whatever I can about music production and sound design out of textbooks, but unfortunately that’s not the kind of thing I can prove to a college with any sort of certificate.

I work for the local cable committee, and my time there is the focus of my college essay. It’s my main source of leadership points.
Starting a video club in the school and teaching a course in After Effects.
Certified by Avid (leading video editing software manufacturer) for editing and effects in their Media composer software.
Spent last summer working in France as tech repairman for an electronics vendor.
Classical training in guitar

The problem is that the only thing I’ve done consistently for the past four years is the stuff I can’t prove- teaching myself how to use basically the entire Adobe suite and music production.

I’m applying to:
Drexel
Northeastern
Northwestern
Emerson
Clark
American

Should I cut it back a little or do I have a good shot of getting into some of these schools?
