PreCal and Calculus at UMich

Is there anyway to avoid the infamous difficulty of Calculus at UMich? I really want to learn it, but I don’t want a failing grade. I suppose I could take it a CC but that’s only if UMich’s Calc classes are so terrible that there are NO decent math teachers for the course.

The math teachers aren’t “horrible.” Calc is only hard since premeds, prebusiness, and engineering students take it.

What are the pre-professional and engineering classes? I’d like to know so that I can f***ing avoid them. So, is the material hard or the competition for grades? I don’t mind a C from a math course or two.

Most Common Pre-Med: Calc 1, 2…Orgo 1, 2, Intro Bio, Physics 1, 2…and upper level Bio classes.
